The most sought after the color of Jadeite is called the Imperial Green which is an Emerald like vivid green color. It's closely followed by Lavender Jadeite which has a purplish-blue hue. Icy Jadeite is coming into the trend with its near-transparent white color. That’s the best quality without color. But if it’s the best texture and imperial green. That’s the top valuable jadeite jewelry for collecting and investing.

  • I am in possession of fourteen 10ml diameter Imperial jade beads which belonged to my great grandmother Annie Pang in a jade necklace given to her by her husband Harry Leuey Pang for her 21st birthday a century ago. Harry Leuey Pang was an importer of Chinese finery to Australia in the early 20th century. I would like to sell the beads and wonder if you could advise me. My.mother was bequeathed a 28 bead necklace which she buried in her garden and subsequently the beads were divided between my sister and myself upon her death. I would be grateful for any information you could provide. I also have a black opal ring surrounded by 14 pearls which belonged to my great grandmother also. Thank you in anticipation….Judith Molyneux
